About

In 2007 I graduated in Architecture at Polytechnic University of Milan, with Cino Zucchi being my mentor (graduation: Summa Cum Laude). During university I spent one year at Polytechnic University of Madrid where I studied with professors such as Campo Baeza, Masilla & Tuñon and many others. In 2011 I completed my PhD in urban and architectural design at Polytechnic University of Milan, earning a special mention for my project on the influence of computational techniques, parametric design and BIM on contemporary architectural design. During the PhD, I started a collaboration with Re-value, a well-known workspace design studio in Milan. With Re-value, I worked on the design of important international companies’ headquarters, such as Microsoft, Samsung, Facebook, Unicredit Bank and Axa Insurances. After the PhD, in 2012/2013 I worked in Beijing as a Senior Project Designer for one of the most important Chinese Landscape Design companies, Turenscape Studio. Under the direction of Prof. Kongjian Yu, Turenscape tackles the dramatic Chinese urban pollution using Design as a tool to develop ecological processes for the purification of the environment. In 2017 I started working as a self-employed Architect in Italy. I also periodically participate in design competitions coordinating groups of internships or students.
